Shane Munyon

Shane is the Owner and General Manager of our facility and plays a key role in shaping the vision and culture of our program. He also serves on the board for the Mounds View Basketball Association and has coached within the Mounds View Middle School program, giving him strong ties to the local basketball community. Shane is passionate about developing people at every level. He strives not only to make athletes better on the court but also to help staff grow as leaders, coaches, and mentors. His commitment to excellence, development, and building a positive basketball culture continues to impact everyone who walks into the gym.

Jim Mitchell

Jim brings many years of basketball experience, coaching and leadership to the gym. He currently serves as the Director of Player Development for the Mounds View Basketball Association, where he plays a key role in helping young athletes build strong fundamentals and a love for the game. As our Assistant Manager, Jim brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to our facility and is passionate about helping athletes grow both in skill and confidence. His energy, experience, and commitment to development help bring out the passion in athletes every time they step onto the court.

Sam Willis III

Sam played collegiate basketball at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada, before continuing his professional career in Mexico, Moldova, and Germany, where he earned 2 MVP awards. He has also served as a Minnesota Lynx Practice Development Player, competing alongside and helping prepare professional athletes at the highest level.

As the Head Coach, Sam is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, sharpen their skills, and reach their full potential. His experience playing professionally around the world allows him to teach the game from a unique perspective while emphasizing discipline, work ethic, and basketball IQ. After overcoming a career-threatening patellar tendon injury, he understands firsthand the resilience and commitment required to succeed.

Sam specializes in shooting, ball handling, footwork, finishing, basketball IQ, and overall player development. By combining his professional experience with Shoot 360’s cutting-edge technology, he creates an energetic, competitive environment where athletes are challenged to improve every day and develop a lifelong love for the game.

Lucas Sopcinski

Lucas is a dedicated coach who brings a passionate wealth of knowledge and energy to everything he does. He has coached within the Mounds View Basketball Association and currently for the Legacy Hoops Girls AAU program, where he is known for his commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court. As our Training Director, Lucas leads with enthusiasm, strong teaching ability, and a deep understanding of the game. Lucas also ran his own training company focused on skill development, confidence building, and helping players become the best version of themselves. His passion for the game and for mentoring young athletes is evident in every practice, training session, and interaction he has with players.

Chris McClay

Chris is a former professional basketball player and experienced coach dedicated to developing athletes through strong fundamentals, confidence, and disciplined training. After playing at the University of Maryland during his collegiate career, he went on to play professionally with the Milwaukee Bucks, in the NBA D-League, and overseas in France, Israel, Belgium, and Italy before transitioning into coaching and player development, including leading the high school program at Washington High School and training athletes at Sanford Power Basketball Academy.

Jacob Becher

Jacob is a collegiate basketball player at North Central University in his junior season. He was a key player on the 2025-26 team that won their first ever outright UMAC regular season championship. In addition to playing at the collegiate level, Jacob coaches AAU basketball with the MN Crossfire organization, where he helps develop players’ skills, understanding of the game, and love for basketball. He is passionate about helping young athletes improve while creating a fun and positive environment that encourages growth and confidence on the court.

Maria Sopcinski

Maria is a dedicated youth basketball coach with experience developing players from elementary through middle school in both AAU and traveling programs. Through her roles with Legacy Hoops Basketball Academy and the Mounds View Basketball Association, she focuses on building strong fundamentals, teamwork, and a positive, growth-focused environment that keeps young athletes engaged and excited to improve each season.

Leah Dengerud

Leah recently graduated from Concordia St. Paul where she earned her bachelor's degree in K-6 Elementary Education while playing college basketball for 4 years. Leah finished her career at CSP scoring over 1000 points and is sixth in program history with 171 made three-point field goals. While at CSP, she pursued a minor in coaching and this upcoming basketball season will begin her coaching career for girls basketball at Andover High School. She is very excited to begin this journey as a coach to use her skills and experiences to help athletes grow, develop their abilities, and reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Danielle Craig

Danielle is a former collegiate basketball player at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse from 2017–2020, where she helped contribute to one of the most successful stretches in program history and remains part of multiple school record achievements. Danielle was a 2-year team captain, a 2-time 1st team WIAC all-conference selection and was an NCAA Woman of the Year nominee. Following her playing career, she began coaching at Dike-New Hartford High School (IA), serving as an assistant coach during two of the program’s four consecutive state championship seasons. She later spent one season as an assistant coach at ADM High School (IA), where she also served as a high school PE teacher and strength and conditioning coach, before taking over as head coach. Over two seasons, she led the program to a 30–18 record while helping guide a turnaround from a previous 7–15 campaign. After relocating to Minnesota following marriage, she continues to pursue opportunities to develop athletes and continue coaching.

Leo Alves

With over a decade of ministry and coaching experience, Leo has dedicated his career to mentoring and developing young people both on and off the court. He has served as a youth pastor in large and mid-sized churches in Minnesota and Florida, leading youth ministries. Alongside his ministry work, he has coached youth and middle school basketball programs and currently coaches within the girls high school program at Tartan High School, where he is passionate about helping athletes grow in skill, character, and confidence through the game. Leo’s passion for the game of basketball is infectious to anyone he comes in contact with.

Bria Stenstrom

Bria just completed her second year of college basketball and will be playing for Augustana University this fall. Bria attended Mounds View High School, where she was a 4x All-Conference player and 2x Team Captain, finishing as the second all time leading scorer in school history. “Basketball has taught me the importance of hard work, confidence, leadership, and teamwork, and I love sharing those lessons with younger athletes. My goal as a coach is to help players improve their skills, build confidence on the court, and enjoy the game while continuing to grow as athletes and people.”

Trey Smith

Coach Trey was a standout player at Osseo High School. As a senior, Trey was Osseo’s leading scorer and team captain, and he signed with UM-Duluth to continue his basketball career.  After UM-D, he played at Kirkwood Community college as well as overseas. Trey is passionate about working with younger players to help build confidence, sharpen fundamentals, and elevate their game through high-level, detail oriented training. Trey specializes in shooting, ball handling, footwork, basketball IQ and offensive skill development.

Jack Dahl

Jack just finished his freshman year at UW-River Falls where he was part of their NCAA Championship football team. Jack was a multi-sport standout at Mounds View High School where he excelled on the court as a shooter and all around player. He has been training individuals and groups for the past 2 years. Basketball has always been a big part of his life, and playing at a high level helped shape his work ethic, leadership, and understanding of the game. Through his experiences as a player, he learned the importance of discipline, confidence, and competing every day. Now at Shoot 360, he is passionate about helping athletes develop their skills, improve their basketball IQ, and build confidence on and off the court. His goal is to create a competitive and positive environment where players can push themselves, grow their game, and have fun while doing it.

Cole Van Beusekom

Coach Cole is passionate about developing athletes' skills, IQ, and competitive drive in a meaningful and positive way. Cole has coached basketball players at several levels. He has coached traveling basketball for Irondale and Mounds View Youth Associations, AAU with the Minnesota Heat, and high school basketball with New Life Academy and St. Croix Preparatory Academy. As a member of the New Life Academy coaching staff, he helped lead the team to back-to-back state tournament appearances in 2022 and 2023.

Maddie Schneider

Maddie just finished her career at Mounds View High School, where she helped her team to the Section Finals as a captain, while being named honorable mention All Conference. In the fall, she will be attending Bethel University to play for the Royal’s womens team and pursuing a nursing degree. Maddie is very passionate about the game of basketball and everything that it’s taught her, including how to be a leader, how to work well in a team, and how to be a positive and uplifting teammate! She is super excited to be one of the coaches at Shoot360 to help athletes improve their skills and grow their love of the game!
